Earth Day - APRIL 2021, TANSI KFN!

April 22, 2021 is Earth Day! Earth Day continues to grow as a worldwide phenomenon focused on promoting clean living and a healthy, sustainable habitat for people and wildlife alike. Celebrating Earth Day serves as a conscious reminder of how fragile our planet is and how important it is to protect it.

KFN Consultation would like to invite the community to partake in a community clean up. Due to the restrictions placed on group gatherings, we ask that people refrain from organizing litter clean-up events until restrictions are lifted. Instead, families and those living in the same household are encouraged to participate in this activity together, and are reminded to:

• Wear gloves

• Wash hands regularly with soap and water or hand sanitizer

• Disinfect the litter grabber or any other tool used before and after use, and store it in a safe location

• Secure and dispose of all litter and garbage bags in appropriate disposal locations

Each kit includes a safety guide, litter grabber, gloves, and small and large garbage bags. Households that participate will receive a case of pop, wieners and buns.

Please leave the bags of garbage on side of the road for pick up, Thank you!
